We’ve been notified that fraudsters posing as BC Hydro employees are calling local businesses. They tell the business owners they owe money and there is a technician enroute to disconnect power to their building unless they pay immediately over the telephone. They are forceful and intimidating.

Bee-keeping business opens storefront in Chemainus
The owners of Fredrich’s Honey, Theo and Taylor Fredrich, have run a successful farm store in Cedar for many years.
