We are excited to once again welcome our summer beautification program into Chemainus. We are honoured to have the Municipality of North Cowichan grant us the funds not only for our summer baskets, but to turn them into holiday baskets once they are no longer in bloom. We also contribute funds towards this program and spend countless hours managing, monitoring, and assessing. We have around 200 baskets in the community that are cared for from June 2 - November 1st.
Each year an RFP is set forth to find the best most reliable basket material vendors and maintenance crews. This year we have selected Superior Growers for the plant material, and Cryan Gardens for the Maintenance. Both are familiar with our Chemainus program and we are happy to have them back again.
