Attended a seminar on a potential grant with TourismInnovation.ca, looked at innitial application rules, held a brain storming session on how we can apply, reviewed past participants and why/how they received the grant/funds. Reviewed some items in the ideation stage, did some research on both large and small scale items, did a reach out to the program administrator, and led some independant thought discussions with the team. This is the initial research stage for this grant which takes multiople hours to complete when it comes to meetings, discussions, researching, etc. Grants are a complicated long drawn out process especially for new creations. Some ideas discussed are: waterpark at kin beach, multi seat cycle, free bycycles (tracked), projection art, interactive art installs, holiday gingerbread installation, glamping, discovery trailhead tours, forraging for food tours & cooking, float Chemainus, Cold therapy pools, fossle hunting and waterfall tours, Outdoor Movie nights/series, drive in, etc.
