Marketing tactics will be aimed at a multi-level approach by using local advertising (papers, social media, and other publications), a passport draw, and a popular event. You can choose to do as much or little as you wish.
MESSAGE: The more you shop, the more you win which means the more you support local business, ultimately supporting the health and vibrancy of the community.
GOAL: The aim of this campaign is to increase awareness, sales and viability for Chemainus as a shopping destination for the holidays. We are offering businesses the opportunity to highlight their products or services in various ways.
MARKET: Residents of Chemainus: 80% + Surrounding Areas (15 minute drive): 20%
Holiday Passport Incentive
PASSPORT Passport initiative identical to last year mid Nov - end of Dec;
• Customers spend $10 or more per transaction they receive a stamp
• 5 stamps enter to WIN a $250 gift card for Chemainus BIA businesses
• Card is a folded over business card size and includes your business name
• Advertising will showcase your name as well
Advent Calendar
ADVENT CALENDAR Dec 1st-Dec 23rd;
Select a day in December and choose your promotion to be displayed, we do the rest. Your business will be promoted on the Visit Chemainus website and social media channels. The hope is to drive business in your store and promote shopping local on your chosen day.
